As Align’s Purchasing Manager, Barry serves as the bridge between our engineering, manufacturing, and inventory teams, ensuring the seamless procurement of essential components vital to our products’ quality and our manufacturing facility’s smooth operation. With over 25 years of experience in material handling and manufacturing sectors, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a management concentration, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
His primary focus is on establishing and nurturing relationships with Align’s supply chain partners to get top-quality parts at the best possible prices, ultimately passing on the benefits to our customers. He uses his skills in negotiation, supply chain management, and lean manufacturing (he has a green belt).
Beyond the confines of the workplace, he is an avid sports enthusiast, cheering passionately for the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls. When not immersed in the world of procurement, you can find him exploring the great outdoors, whether it’s teeing off on the golf course, trekking through the scenic desert and mountains of the southwest, or chasing after his two exuberant greyhounds.
