Metal stamping operations run on precision and uptime. Yet every day, stampers face challenges that slow production and add unnecessary cost: moving heavy steel coils, transferring massive dies in and out of presses, and managing bottlenecks at the end of the line. Each of these tasks creates risks for downtime, safety, and efficiency.
At Align Production Systems, we design solutions for metal stamping to address these exact problems—helping you keep production moving, reduce manual handling, and minimize delays.
Your Partner in Reducing Downtime
Every minute your line is down means lost production. That’s why Align focuses on designing equipment that directly addresses your biggest challenges. Whether it’s moving heavy coils, handling dies safely, or eliminating workflow bottlenecks, our solutions are built to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Moving Heavy Steel Coils Safely and Efficiently
Handling large coils is one of the most demanding jobs in any stamping plant. Missteps here can cause damage, safety risks, or lost time. Align provides a range of coil handling solutions—including cradle-style and spike-style transporters, coil tippers, and powered tuggers—that allow a single operator to move and position coils safely. By reducing reliance on overhead cranes and improving coil control, we help keep your line fed and running smoothly.

Streamlining Die Changes
Die changes are a critical point where downtime can add up fast. Traditional methods require hoists, forklifts, or multiple operators, all of which increase risk and slow down changeovers. Align’s die changers and transporters are built to handle the heaviest stamping dies. We move dies by pushing and pulling dies directly from the press, then raising or lowering them to storage racks. Our systems simplify the process, reduce manual handling, and speed up changeovers—so your press is running, not waiting.
Eliminating End-of-Line Bottlenecks
Even when stamping runs are efficient, bottlenecks at the end of the line can slow production. Align’s air caster turntables provide a low-profile, high-capacity solution to keep material flowing. By rotating heavy loads on a cushion of air, turntables allow operators to load and unload simultaneously, separate operator zones from forklift or robotic traffic, and prevent backups before shipping or assembly. The result: safer workstations and smoother throughput.
